MUSIC FOR THE HARPSICHORD HOUSE

  • Hunter MFA Galleries 205 Hudson Street New York, NY, 10013 United States (map)

MUSIC FOR THE HARPSICHORD HOUSE is an art installation and performance space made by Julie Zhu and Robert Fleitz. Thirteen new pieces for harpsichord are being written for this strange sculpture where Robert plays from inside of a house, hidden from the audience, but with his face live-projected on the side of the house. Come witness the phenomenon!

This January 6th performance is extra special, since it features the PREMIERE of Jenna Lyle's piece "Robert and Carrie Play an E-Flat", written for Wind-Up Elephant (a toy instrument duo comprising Carrie Frey and Robert Fleitz).

THE EVE'S PROGRAMME:

Krists Auznieks: Sonata
Julie Zhu: Carpet
Giancarlo Latta: Nine
Linda Dallimore: Cavea
Conrad Winslow: Apertures
